A new bubble tea store will open in Macclesfield town centre.

Pearl T Mac will open on Chestergate this year.

The Asian drinkmaker will be located on 127 Chestergate, opposite The Picturedrome where Henbury Travel used to be before they moved to Chestergate's other side.

Chestergate has had a tea business before, with Cheshire Tea, which opened and closed in 2021 in the same area.

Macclesfield doesn't really have a bubble tea presence on the high street, especially with the recent closure of bubble tea delivery eatery Cjyae's.

Pearl T Mac can be followed on Facebook.

They have been contacted for comment.

There will be one more less empty unit on Chestergate, as the street continues to rise with independent businesses. (Image - Alexander Greensmith / Macclesfield Nub News)
