New independent vet offering 'personable approach' ready to welcome poorly pets

A new independent veterinary clinic is opening in town.
Macclesfield Veterinary Practice opens this Wednesday, January 8.
Owners Dr Christian Sadler and Dr Riaz Rhemu are looking to to offer a more 'personable approach' to veterinary services.
"We cannot wait to meet the pets and families of Macclesfield and hopefully bring back the personal touch to veterinary practice," said Dr Sadler, 32.
"Clients should expect a calm, relaxed, welcoming atmosphere designed to reduce stress for them and their pets.
"They will be given time to fully understand their pets treatment and discuss all possible options to ensure a plan can be created for every family."
Dr Sadler grew up in Cheshire before going to the University of Nottingham.
He returned to work in Cheshire, with a special interest in keyhole and orthopaedic surgery.
Meanwhile, 32-year-old Dr Rhemu grew up in London but fell in love with Manchester and Cheshire during his time working for the RSPCA.
He has also spent time travelling in Africa where he helped with neutering programmes and has a special interest in internal medicine and complex medical cases.
In 2022, the duo opened Tatton Veterinary Practice in Knutsford.
Their vision included offering double the standard consultation time at no extra cost.
This ensures owners can fully understand their pets' treatment and gives doctors the time to perform diagnostic tests to provide fast, effective treatment.
The practice proved to be a resounding success with a five star Google rating.
At their new Macclesfield practice they will perform a wide variety of routine and complex surgeries as well as many diagnostic procedures, on top of the standard routine consultations, vaccinations etc.
Macclesfield Veterinary Practice opens at Bailey Court on Green Street on Wednesday, January 8.
