A Macclesfield aesthetics business has moved across town.

Victoria's Aesthetics, which has been in business since 2021, has moved to Roe Street.

They are located upstairs on 7A Roe Street, next to The Beauty Boutique.

Pixie-Victoria Sayers is a registered nurse and medical aesthetics clinic owner, and lifelong resident of Macclesfield.

Victoria's Aesthetics specialises in subtle enhancements and natural rejuvenation/restoration treatments

Services they offer include chemical peels for your skin, lip fillers and microneedling to treat acne scars and wrinkles.

"I want to make people feel better within themselves", said Pixie.

"It is not about distorting features or [radically] changing people's appearances.

"If you've had a concern about something under your eyes for a long time, or you just want to look fresher, it is about making you feel the best version of you.

"Let's compare to the feeling of putting on a new shirt, you feel good, it is about making people feel good about how they look, and doing it safely as well. There are no duck lips here.

"We offer a large variety of treatments, ranging from simple facials to advanced aesthetic procedures. It is just tweaking things to improve people's appearance, and confidence."

In an industry which is unregulated, and requires no prior knowledge of anatomy, Pixie has that knowledge, plus eight years experience of a nurse to draw on, which she offers to her patients.

The business is fully insured, and the service goes at a comfortable pace. Pixie talks through the procedure and risks with her patients thoroughly, through an appropriate window of time.

"The reason I want to help people and why I am fascinated by skin, is because I have struggled myself with my own skin," revealed Pixie.

""I love dealing with skin, as people have so many different problems with it, and finding out what is causing that is fascinating to me, as well as how we can fix it as well.

"I am offering free consultations for the month of April, to celebrate our new location. They are usually £25."

You may also recognise Pixie from working at Macclesfield's East Cheshire Hospice, a fact that indicates she has a great bedside manner and care for others. Before that, she was a district nurse in our area's hospitals.

When asked about what she enjoys about her new side gig, Pixie had this to say: "I like my job in aesthetics as similar to being a nurse, it is helping people feel better within themselves," explained Pixie.

"Like with my job with the Hospice, I still want to make people feel as good as they can at that point.

"Skills from palliative care and aesthetics surprisingly does overlap.

"Safety is a big thing for me, as people don't know the risks of what filler can do. [But Pixie can deliver this sensitive information in a manner she is prepared for, given her years of experience as a nurse.]

Examples of previous clients can be seen on social media. The Victoria's Aesthetics Instagram has over 1200 followers @victorias.aesthetics. (Image - @victorias.aesthetics)

"I am trying to get away from this taboo that lip fillers look fake, because within the right person at the right point, it can be really transformational.

"Seeing people when they see a new part of their face, seeing their face, their relief, they walk out of here with their head held high, I just think that is amazing and one of my favourite things about the job."

From botox to vitamin injections, a full list of services can be found HERE.

An example of her attention to detail, is that she always makes sure her aesthetics patients are wearing sun protection to preserve their procedure, and is part of the aftercare.

She is also part of a huge group chat with other medical professionals who have gone into the aesthetics industry as well, so has a massive support network.

"I am also a trained Lymphoedema nurse specialist and work in this role at the Hospice," told Pixie.

"It is management of swelling to the limbs caused by cancer or cancer treatment.

"My long term aspirations are to incorporate this and grow into a skin and wellness clinic."
