A new institution in Macclesfield has applied for an alcohol licence.

The Coare Street McCarthy Stone development, which will provide one and two bedroom living for retirees have just applied for a premises licence to Cheshire East Council.

And while this is another sign of the site's opening, there is still no confirmed date as of yet.

It is for "The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises Monday to Sunday 11.00 to 23.00 each day."
