Macclesfield's new independent Mexican food outlet has finalised their opening hours.

Tres Burritos has opened on Mill Street, serving tacos, nachos and more.

The family business is ran by Nikolay Iliev, his sister Hristina Naydenova and Nikolay's partner Irinel Arbanas.

"Opening day was amazing, we are so happy," said Irinel.

"More people are eating in than takeaway so far, but we are launching on the takeaway apps as well now that we have opened.

"We have changed our opening hours from 12pm to 10pm, Monday to Saturday.

"This is to give us more time to prepare the fresh food in the morning.

"Every last Sunday of the month, we will be open for the Treacle Market as well.

"We opened for the Treacle Market last month and it was amazing.

"Thank you so much for your support."

The best-seller so far has been the burritos and the burrito boxes.

"The feedback so far has been amazing," said Nikolay.

"Especially the meat, people have pointed out how fresh everything is.

"Our fajita fries we did not expect to be so popular, but they have also become a firm favourite."

Other menu items include quesadillas and chicharrones with homemade guacamole made fresh every morning.

"Thank you everyone in Macclesfield for their support," added Nikolay.

"The biggest surprise for me was seeing other businesses coming to support us, and to offer help as well, which was amazing.

"We have changed our opening hours to allow more time to cook our fresh food every day.

"Although we have changed our opening times, you can still pre-order your food before we open by messaging us on Facebook or on the takeaway apps."

You can also order in-person by heading to Tres Burritos, of 67 Mill Street, Macclesfield.
