New takeaway serving up kebabs, pizzas and more opens for business

By Matthew Hancock-Bruce   22nd Dec 2025

A new takeaway has opened for business in Macclesfield.

Turkish Grill is officially up and running on Queen Victoria Street.

At the helm is 42-year-old Ramazan Kose, who has been working in the restaurant and takeaway business for 25 years.

On the menu you will find all your kebab house favourites, including doner, shawarma and shish.

They also offer pizzas, burgers, fried chicken and more.

Turkish Grill takes over the unit previously occupied by Bari Grill.

It comes as the owner of Bari, Ali Ghanbari, prepares to open the doors to Saffron Mall.

Located just a few doors down, at the former Lloyds building, Saffron Mall is described as a 'miniature mall' of several businesses.

This will see Mr Ghanbari's existing company, Tailor Mayde For You, relocated from its current home across the road at 61 Mill Street.

The ground floor will also feature a café and wine bar with a dining area, a fast food kitchen, and a Middle Eastern grocery and gift shop.

Meanwhile, the first floor will be transformed into a private function room/event hall.
