A phone shop in Macclesfield is undergoing renovation, and has temporarily closed.

02 Macclesfield, on Mill Street, which also backs on to Castle Street, is shut for a refurbishment.

An O2 spokesperson said: "Our Mill Street store in Macclesfield is currently closed while we carry out refurbishment works to improve our customers' experience. When we reopen shortly, the store will have been redecorated inside and out, with new external signage, LED light fittings, energy-efficient digital screens and a redesigned floor layout that will showcase our full range of products and services."

No reopening date is currently in sight.
