One less empty shop as new meal delivery set to open in central Macclesfield

It looks like a shop empty for 17 months has found a new purpose.

COOK, are frozen food meal prep company, are set to open in Macclesfield town centre.

The tasty business are set to occupy the old Age UK Cheshire East unit on Churchill Way, which was Adjustamatic before that.

They have stores all over the country, including one in nearby Poynton. (Image - Macclesfield Nub News)

COOK already has a site in Poynton, on 19 School Lane. They also have one on Wilmslow's Water Lane.

No opening date has yet to be announced, but discounts are being advertised on the shopfront.

The business was contacted for comment by Macclesfield Nub News on May 29.

The only job vacancy in Macclesfield currently open on their website, is for a Retail Manager role, paying £30,000.

The new opening will be directly opposite the Exchange Street Tesco, which also sells frozen meals.

They are also offering a 15% off voucher that punters can spend in their opening period.
