A Hazel Grove taxi firm are seeking to expand their presence in Macclesfield.

Lynx Taxis, which already serve our town, have now opened an office with the aim to hire new drivers.

Their pink-clad recruitment office is now open for business, with would-be drivers invited to pop-in or a chat.

The unit is located in-between TOPCUT and The Wild Bunch, on 90 Mill Street.

The premises used to house Artmageddon Tattoo Studio before they moved onto 5-7 Church Street.

Ehsan Shakeri, Managing Director of Lynx Taxis responded to Macclesfield Nub News' request for comment.

"We have decided to open a recruitment office as an addition to our booking office (situated on Brook Street) due to the increase in demand from the people of Macclesfield for our services," they said.

"With this in mind, we will need an increase in drivers within the area, hence our recruitment office has opened to allow drivers to join the Lynx platform, whether you are an existing driver or looking for a change in career, we are here to help you with the processes involved.

"We are offering introductory rates and referrals for any driver who signs up with Lynx in July. Appointments can be made on our website (under drive with us tab)."
