Paramedics called as person suffers smoke inhalation in outbuilding fire

One person was injured during a fire near Macclesfield Forest.
A large emergency service response was called out following reports of a fire at an outbuilding off Old Buxton Road on Saturday (March 15).
Two Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service engines, one each from the Macclesfield and Wilmslow stations, arrived at the scene shortly after midday.
They were joined there by an engine from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service as well as paramedics.
A CFRS spokesperson said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to tackle a fire in a single storey detached garage.
"One casualty is believed to have been injured and suffered smoke inhalation; paramedics were also at the scene."
North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for further information.
