New business community looks to connect Cheshire's neurodivergent entrepreneurs
By The Editor 8th Jun 2026
A new community designed specifically for neurodivergent entrepreneurs has launched in Cheshire.
Pink Squirrel Club aims to provide a welcoming space for ADHD, autistic and neurodivergent business owners.
It was set up by Richard and Miranda Hart, founders of the Macclesfield-based recycling firm Tidy Planet Food Waste and Snap & Natter, a podcast studio located at Adelphi Mill in Bollington.
"Many neurodivergent business owners tell us they find traditional networking exhausting," said Miranda.
"Pink Squirrel Club was created to be different.
"There's no pressure to perform, pitch or pretend.
"People can simply come as they are."
Pink Squirrel Club's launch event took place at Hickory's Smokehouse in Poynton and focused on genuine conversation, connection and support rather than formal networking structures.
Looking ahead, they are planning to host regular brunches, workshops, supper clubs, accountability sessions, an online community and even a new podcast.
The Pink Squirrel Podcast is currently recording its first season and will feature ADHD business owners sharing their personal stories, business journeys and experiences of navigating entrepreneurship with a neurodivergent brain.
The series will also include expert insights from ADHD specialist Jen Parkin, owner of Neurodivergent Sanctuary.
Pink Squirrel Club are currently inviting ADHD and neurodivergent business owners from across Cheshire and beyond to get involved, attend future events and potentially share their stories on the podcast.
The long-term vision is to create a supportive community where business owners can connect with like-minded people who understand the unique opportunities and challenges that can come with thinking differently.
