Police are searching for a missing man from Macclesfield.

Clifford Hughes was last seen in the Waters Green area of the town at around 11am on Wednesday, February 25.

The 62-year-old is described as white and around 5'6" tall.

When he was last seen, Clifford was believed to be wearing red jumper and a camouflage-style jacket.

As part of their enquiries into locating Clifford, officers are now appealing for information from the public.

Inspector Claire Miles said: "We are conducting enquiries to locate Clifford and, as part of our investigation, we are asking anyone who may have seen him or has information as to his whereabouts to please get in touch.

"I would like to ask Clifford directly to please contact us and let us know that you are safe and well."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or via the website, quoting incident number IML-2278077.
