Police find body of man in Macclesfield

Police sadly think they have found the body of a 61-year-old missing Macclesfield man.
Cheshire Police issued an appeal yesterday (Saturday) to find a man who had gone missing from his home in Macclesfield.
They have now since issued the following statement: "Officers searching for the missing man from Macclesfield have sadly found a body.
"Formal ID has not yet taken place but it is believed to be him. Next of kin have been informed.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
