Police renew appeal for information following 'extremely concerning' incidents
Police continue to investigate reports of suspicious activity at retail stores in Macclesfield and Handforth.
Macclesfield's Local Policing Unit has renewed an appeal for information, releasing new CCTV footage of a man officers would like to speak to.
It comes following reports of a man acting suspiciously at two shops in Macclesfield town centre on Monday, August 4.
Then, on Friday August 8, police received reports of a man matching the same description acting suspiciously at two retail stores in the Handforth area.
During the incident the man was seen acting suspiciously and following lone women.
Inspector Richard Haque, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said: "These are extremely concerning incidents, and we are keen to trace this man as soon as possible.
"The footage is extremely clear, and I would urge anyone who recognises the man to get in touch. Information can be reported via www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or by calling 101, quoting IML 2150470.
"I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to come forward."
