Police seek info after daylight burglary in south east Macclesfield

Detectives are appealing to the public for information in relation to an attempted burglary in Macclesfield.

At around 3.24pm on Monday 24 July, officers received reports of that the suspects had attempted to access an address on Blakelow Road, Macclesfield.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are urging anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious to get in touch.

Police Constable Sam Needham of CID proactive East, said:

"We're currently following a number of lines of enquiry and as part of our investigation into this incident, and we are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed anything that didn't look right.

"The same goes for anyone with any CCTV, ring doorbell or dash cam footage.

"Anyone with any information or CCTV footage should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or enquire via our website, quoting IML 1604148."
