Police seize drugs and weapons in west Macclesfield
An address on the Upton Priory estate has been searched by police officers, with one person arrested.
In a statement Cheshire Police said: "At 6.20am on Friday 15 September officers conducted a drugs warrant at an address on Donagh Close, Macclesfield."
"A number of items were seized at the address including drugs, weapons, mobile phones and cash.
"A 49-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs; he has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries."
The type of drug has not been disclosed.
