A Macclesfield pub up for sale has seen its asking price slashed.

The St Dunstans Inn in Langley, near Macclesfield Forest, has been up for sale for over a year.

The idyllic country pub was on the market to buy for £495,000.

The pub is found at Main Road, in Langley.

But now estate agent Sidney Phillips has confirmed that the St Dunstans Inn is now available for freehold offers £445,000.

This is a reduction by £50,000.

The pub has a pool room, restaurant area, and can seat 80.

An article about the current publicans can be read HERE.

The pub will be celebrating their 200th anniversary next year, so a new publican would benefit from the opportunity of an anniversary celebration.

Those interested in taking on the pub should contact Sidney Phillips at 01512 204879.

They describe the opportunity as a 'beautifully presented country public house'.

Alternatively, more photos of the pub and information on the listing can be found HERE.

The Georgian era pub is currently open Tuesday to Sunday.

If you love the River Bollin, Teggs Nose, and Macclesfield Forest, then you'll love coming here as this location of this pub benefits from them all.
