There has been celebrations and hope for the future this week at Macclesfield College.

As their apprenticeship figures are at record numbers.

This is according to a statement from the Park Lane place of education which read: "Maxim Business Training, the Apprenticeship arm of Macclesfield College, are thrilled to announce a remarkable start to the year, with an unprecedented surge in Apprenticeship enrolments."

"This incredible achievement reflects the huge demand from employers for high-quality Apprenticeship programmes in the North West."

In a single month, Maxim proudly confirmed over 100 new Apprenticeships, a testament to their unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and organisations through skills development.

Additionally, they successfully placed over 70 Apprenticeship vacancies, connecting enthusiastic learners with exciting opportunities for growth.

Maxim's impressive employer partnerships continue to expand, with a notable inclusion of both esteemed and emerging employers, including local industry giants Federal Mogul, AstraZeneca, Sodexo and Swizzels.

Among the sectors experiencing unprecedented growth, engineering, accounting, and construction have taken the lead, shattering previous records for Apprenticeship starts.
