A giant obstacle course stands between a charity and vital funds.

Staff from the Rossendale Trust are gearing up to tackle the Cheshire Inflatable 5k on Saturday (August 2).

The team will bounce, slide and sprint their way through the course as they raise money to support the trust's mission of creating opportunities and promoting independence for adults with learning disabilities.

Susanne Tidswell, the Rossendale Trust's PR and fundraising officer, said: "This challenge is a fantastic way for our team to come together, have fun, and make a real difference.

"Every bounce and every step help us continue our work empowering adults with learning disabilities to live full and enriched lives."

Every penny raised will go directly towards enhancing the lives of those supported by the trust.
