Second headliner and title-winning Silkmen side confirmed for new summer festival

The second headliner has been announced for Macclesfield in May.
Following a sold-out show at Cinemac over the weekend, Sea Fever have been confirmed as the final act of the town's new summer festival.
It takes place for the first time over the weekend of May 3 and 4, replacing the popular non-profit Party in the Pews.
The festival will be held in Market Place and is free-to-attend, thanks to community funding from Kickstarter, sponsors and Macclesfield Town Council.
Sea Fever aren't the only new addition to the line-up, with organisers having today (April 2) revealed that that Macclesfield FC's title-winning team will be in attendance as well.

Sea Fever were formed as an indie supergroup in 2020.
The band features New Order's Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham, along with Iwan Gronow, who played bass with Johnny Marr for over a decade and was a former member of the cherished noughties emotive indie band, Haven.
Completing the line-up is Section 25's Beth Cassidy and drummer, Elliot Barlow, formerly of Brix and The Extricated.
Joining Sea Fever on the stage on Saturday (May 3) is Kyle Falconer, frontman of chart-topping band, The View.

On Sunday (May 4), fans will have a chance to meet the players of Macclesfield FC.
Robbie Savage steered the Silkmen to promotion to the National League North, clinching the title with a 2-1 win over Bamber Bridge in March.
DJ and radio presenter Laura Beth, one of the English Football League's first female stadium announcers, will be joined on the decks by Mike Wain from Silk FM.
Organisers have also confirmed a number of road closures being put in place for the festival.
Market Place will be shut from the junction of King Edward Street to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre from 8am to 11pm on both May 3 and 4.
Jordangate, from Cumberland Street to King Edward Street, and Chestergate, from Churchill Way to Market Place, will be closed at the same times.

Entrance to the festival site will be via Chestergate.
Due to licensing restrictions, alcohol cannot be brought into the space and bag searches will be place.
However, there will be bars ran by RedWillow and Bollington Brewery as well as plenty of food options.
VIP passes are also available which give access to the Town Hall, where you can find toilets and a separate cocktail bar ran by Proper Sound along with live music from The Dope, Far North and DJs.
