Prime Cut Bar & Grill Macclesfield aims to bring close to 50 jobs to our town, and will be a star attraction of the Council's public realm enhancement scheme.

The opening of a new Macclesfield steakhouse in a formerly disused building will be announced soon, as a large sign has been erected on the walls.

The Churchill way site, which also backs onto Castle Street, should open around the same time as the Castle Street regeneration completion later this year.

There are plans to have seating on the widened footways, which will allow all Castle Street businesses to welcome in more customers.

Opening details for Prime Cut Bar & Grill Macclesfield will be revealed at the end of September, when street works are also set to complete.

The food establishment will occupy a three-storey building that has been vacant for ten years.

Before that, it was a building society, which shut in 2011.

Macclesfield Nub News contacted the restaurant, asking about what to expect for the new Macclesfield eatery.

"We will be hiring about 50 staff for floor and kitchen, the restaurant will hold about 220 including outside seating," they said.

"Following the success of our two previous restaurants firstly La Turka Bistro Monton followed by La Turka Bistro Rawtenstall, we decided to begin a new adventure & challenge… Prime Cut Bar & Grill Macclesfield.

"From breakfast, bottomless brunch or even a Saturday night filled of fun with our live singer, Prime Cut Bar & Grill has it covered.

"Using locally sourced, fresh ingredients paired with the perfect tipple of wine, cocktail or something bubbly."

"Specialising in high quality steak and meat doesn't mean we have forgotten about our vegan and veggie friends, so our menu really does have something for everyone, anytime of day.

"With a huge range of wines and gins amongst a big collection of other favourites our bar we are sure will be busy, bustling and a big hit amid the Cheshire area.

"We want every experience you have at Prime Cut to be exceptional and memorable whether you have just a coffee or Gold Thomahawk."

Job application details will be revealed in due course, along with the precise opening date.

It is great news for Macclesfield's high street, as there are many empty units, including on Castle Street, and at nearby Mill Street.

Cheshire East Council unanimously approved the plans earlier in the year, who are also carrying out the Castle Street regeneration.

You can follow the new Macc steakhouse on Facebook.

They also have an Instagram.

They also have a website, where patrons will be able to book from once they open.
