The cold snap is set to culminate with snow this week.

Friday morning will bring a few hours of snow to dust Macclesfield.

Light snow will scatter across our town on Friday morning, as temperatures fall to 1C, which will feel like -3C due to cold gusts of 20mph wind.

The snow will fall between 6am-12pm on Friday.

Rain will then ensure the snow doesn't stick at 3pm.

A yellow weather warning will be in place for the UK, but Macclesfield is currently in the cut-off zone for it according to the Met Office.
