Each item is sourced directly from artisans across Afghanistan, providing vital fair-trade income to communities and helping to preserve ancient artistic traditions.
The centrepiece of the collection at AfghanPure is their selection of handwoven rugs and kilims with intricate patterns and vibrant colours.
These are complimented perfectly by embroidered cushion covers, available in a variety of striking designs.
Those looking for something a little smaller can browse a range of handcrafted jewellery, from silver pieces set with semi-precious Lapis Lazuli to delicate beaded necklaces,.
The shop also stocks natural crystals and stones, believed by many to carry positive energy.
Festive opening hours
Understanding the last-minute rush and the desire to find something special, Afghanpure has confirmed it will be open on both Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
They will be open from 9am to 6pm on Christmas Eve for those looking to make a final, unique gift purchase.
The shop will then reopen from 9am to 6pm on Boxing Day as the post-Christmas sales get underway.
