New chapter for town centre's 'one-stop shop'
By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 23rd Apr 2026
Macclesfield's 'one-stop shop' is entering a new era.
Mini Pound+ Shop has relocated and renamed itself.
Previously located on Queen Victoria Street, it can now be found at 61 Mill Street under the name Macc Snacks.
It takes over the unit previously home to Tailor Mayde, which is now part of the neighbouring Saffron Mall.
Macc Snacks opened its doors for the first time on Thursday, April 23.
It shares its space with AfghanPure, which many may remember from its time at the indoor market.

Owner Waheed Farooqi Zargar says the move has given them more space to showcase their wares, making it easier for customers to browse their range of rugs, kilims and jewellery.
On the Macc Snacks side of things, the shop offers a wide range of products including snacks, drinks, dry ingredients, electricals, vapes and more.
What's more, to celebrate the opening, they will be serving free coffee to all customers who make a purchase of over £7 or more until the end of the week.
