Macclesfield College is getting ready to welcome prospective students.

The college's first open event of the academic year, held in October, proved be one of the busiest they have ever hosted.

It offered prospective students and their families a chance to explore the campus, meet staff and discover the wide range of opportunities available.

A spokesperson for Macclesfield College said: "We were thrilled to see a clear increase in attendance compared to previous years, reflecting the growing interest in what Macclesfield College has to offer.

"The event gave future students a genuine insight into college life and what it means to be part of our community."

The spokesperson added: "From the moment visitors arrived, they were greeted by our friendly team and student ambassadors who showcased what makes Macclesfield College such a special place to study.

"The atmosphere throughout the evening reflected what we're most proud of – our strong sense of community, supportive environment and the positive energy that fills our campus.

"Guests had the chance to meet teachers, tour classrooms, workshops, social spaces and find out more about our courses and facilities.

"Many commented on how welcoming and enthusiastic our staff were, helping to make the evening both informative and enjoyable."

Their next open event takes place on Saturday, November 22, from 10.30am to 1.00pm.
