Three Macclesfield musicians releasing music this month

As well as celebrating our town's businesses, and reporting on the latest Macclesfield news, Macclesfield Nub News loves to celebrate our town's thriving arts scene.
And today, for our newsletter exclusive article (released on Friday for subscribers, and Sunday for everyone else) reveals some of the hottest new music coming from our town.
Here's three artists from the Macclesfield area who are releasing music in July.
HOOD
A Bollington DJ has released a powerful reggae-infused dance track.
Teenager Alfie Dixon Hood has dropped Rastafari - VIP under his stage name HOOD.
HOOD is from a musical family, with older sister Megan having a pop album out later this year.
We'll aim to interview HOOD later this month, but for now you can enjoy the new single by clicking the top of this article.

Minerva Daisy
This 21-year-old Macclesfield musician will release her fifth single, and her first of the year.
Piano-powered pop is Minerva's forté, as you will find out when Wildfire drops next week.
"Wildfire is a summery indie pop anthem to dance with your mates to," said Minerva.

The Virginmarys
One of the most popular bands from our town, Ally Dickaty and Danny Dolan are The Virginmarys.
A new album is on the way this year, and their second single from their fourth LP is due this month.
The heavy rock duo - who performed in Macc earlier this year - will play Manchester on October 15.
Expect to hear new single You're A Killer then, and by the end of this month.
