A Tytherington-based school has celebrated the end of the Michaelmas term with a carol service and reindeer visit.

Beech Hall School pupils recently gathered at St. Peter's Church in Prestbury for a 'Carols by Candlelight' service.

Students delivered readings and musical performances, as well as renditions of well-loved, traditional Christmas carols.

James Allen, headmaster at Beech Hall School, said: "The Carols by Candlelight service was a perfect way to conclude a busy term.

"It was a joy to share our festive celebrations with the wider school community, and the atmosphere at St Peter's Church was truly magical.

"We are incredibly proud of our pupils and grateful to everyone who contributed so beautifully – singing, reading and performing with such eloquence and enthusiasm."

Santa's reindeer also made a special visit to the school, creating a magical experience for the students.

The pupils were able to meet the reindeer and learn about the iconic Christmas animals from reindeer handlers.

"It was wonderful to see our pupils' faces light up with excitement and delight as they met Santa's reindeer," said Mr Allen.

"Experiences like this bring the magic of Christmas to life, sparking joy, curiosity and a real sense of wonder.

"It's moments like this that enrich our school community and make the festive season truly special at Beech Hall."
