A vehicle has been seized following a police raid in Macclesfield.

Cheshire Police officers executed a warrant at an address on Hewetson Crescent on Tuesday morning, July 28.

No one was present at the time of the raid and as such, no arrests were made.

However, police were called back to the address later that due to reports of a 'disturbance'.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 7.30am on Tuesday, July 28, police executed a warrant at an address on Hewetson Crescent in Macclesfield.

"Nobody was present at the time of the warrant and no arrests were made.

"At 11.30am on July 28, police were called to reports of a disturbance at the same address.

"Officers returned to the property and engaged with those present who confirmed that no offences had taken place.

"A vehicle was also seized from outside the address as part of the investigation."
