A musical celebrating the life of a British comedy legend comes to Bollington this Spring.
Bollington Arts Centre on Wellington Road will play host to Looking For Me Friend, a Victoria Wood tribute show.
Part of a national tour, it takes to the stage on Friday, April 17 - almost 10 years to the day after Victoria's untimely passing, age 62.
Anne Swinbank, part of the BAC programming team, said: "We are delighted and excited to be hosting this show!
"This year marks the 10th anniversary of the early death of the comedian Victoria Wood and this show is a humorous, musical homage to her.
"The show has been touring the UK for several years and is actually sold out at the Lowry in Manchester the following evening."
Looking For Me Friend: The Music of Victoria Wood has been spreading nostalgia and laughter throughout the UK for five years.
It is filled to the brim with Victoria's best-loved songs, including the 'Ballad of Barry & Freda' and 'It Would Never Have Worked'.
Directed by Sarah-Louise Young, the show has been written and is performed by star of BBC1's 'All Together Now', Paulus The Cabaret Geek, with Michael Roulston on piano.
