Churchyard Carols

Yuletide fun in east Macclesfield.

St Paul's Church in Macclesfield have an evening of festive songs on the 22nd.

Join them for a FREE community Carol singing event led by Macclesfield Youth Brass Band. 

The event organisers said: "Keep warm around our fire pits and with a cup of mulled wine and a mince pie. "

"Churchyard carols is sure to set your festive spirit to the highest point and its all FREE!"

Blondie Tribute

Macclesfield: What's your favourite Blondie song?

From Tide is HighHeart of Glass, to Atomic, the hit songs of Blondie will be performed in Macclesfield this festive weekend. 

Rapture will be performing at The Nags Head Pub on 60 Waters Green, named after the Blondie tune of the same name.

Regular performers in Macc, the new wave tribute act will perform there at 9:30pm this Saturday.

Another Tribute

The Bridge, of The Village, Prestbury. (Image - Google)

Another tribute act, and this one is a double-header, a two-dayer if you will.

The Bridge will have a tribute act on Mad Friday, and on Saturday (Christmas Eve Eve).

First up, is a Tom Jones tribute at 7pm on Friday. More info HERE.

Roe Street Gig

A Macclesfield band are to perform a homecoming gig in time for Christmas.

The Virginmarys, comprising Macclesfield residents Ally Dickaty and Danny Dolan, will perform at Cinemac this December.

They'll take to the stage of Cinemac Live on December 22. 

It is the second Christmas gig the band have done at the Roe Street venue in as many years.
