Friday - Bingo night - Park Lane School

Parents, carers, and friends are invited to their School Charity Bingo Night at Park Lane Special School on Friday 13 December.

Doors open at 7pm, and bingo kicks off at 7.15pm sharp.

There will be a bar serving pizza from Papa Johns and a wide selection of drinks available for purchase.

Tickets are free but must be reserved via Eventbrite HERE.

Bingo strips are £1 each, or grab a full book of 7 for just £7. Dabbers are £1.50, or bring your own.

Saturday - Christmas concert - St Michael and All Angels Church

The Christmas concert will take place on Saturday 14 December at 7.30pm (St Michael and All Angels Church).

The programme opens with 16-year-old Benjamin Britten's masterpiece for double choir, A hymn to the virgin, composed when the young lad was in the sick bay of Gresham's School, Lowestoft, not a million miles from where Alison Willis now lives.

We then turn the clock back by three centuries to the Dutch Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck's sparkling and joyous Hodie Christus natus est with it's bell-like 'Noe's.

Tickets are £15.00 on the door and accompanied under 16s go free.

Sunday - Santa Sunday Lunch - Macclesfield FC

Macclesfield FC is holding their very own Santa Sunday Lunches in Bar Twenty Seven on Sunday 15 December (Macclesfield FC).

Macclesfield FC is holding their very own Santa Sunday Lunches in Bar Twenty Seven on Sunday 15 December. 

The three-course Sunday Lunch will take place between 12pm and 3pm, and lots of other festivities are expected on the day.

You will get the chance to meet Santa and receive a very special gift from Father Christmas himself.

There will be festive quizzes and various fun activities for the whole family to get involved with.

Tickets are £25 for adults and £15 for children. Young children under three go for free.
