A few days ago, Macclesfield were accepted into the FA Cup and FA Vase Trophy.
Of course, the FA Cup is familiar to fans of Macclesfield Town FC, being the world's oldest cup competition.
The club which preceded Macclesfield FC enjoyed a string of high-profile third and fourth round ties in the early 2010s.
This included narrowly losing in Macc to the Premier League club and 2013 FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic.
Now, more FA Cup memories could be made in Macclesfield, as our town's club had their first opponent revealed.
They will face divisional rival Burscough in a home game at the Leasing.com Stadium.
A win will take them on the road to Squire's Gate in Blackpool or Ashton Athletic.
The FA Vase pits together almost 700 teams across Steps 9 and 10 of the Football Pyramid, have just revealed their first set of fixtures today.
Macclesfield FC will enter at the non-league tourney at the First Qualifying Round phase.
They will face North Lincolnshire club Winterton Rangers, who play in the Northern Counties East League.
It takes 87 miles to trek to the West Street Stadium from Macclesfield.
If they win, they'll be rewarded with a home tie in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round against Selby Town or Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
Macclesfield FC's youth squad were also accepted into the FA Youth Cup as the same time as the other two competitions, which also had the opening fixtures revealed today.
The young Silkmen will face Chorley FC in the Preliminary Round of their inaugural cup competition.
If they beat the Lancashire Club, they will book a tie away against either FC United of Manchester or Wythenshawe Amateurs in the Extra Qualifying Round.
The boys in blue also take on Leek Town in a pre-season friendly tomorrow. Are you going?
Which of these ties are you most excited for?
Macclesfield FC's first game in the league is on July 31, also against Burscough.
The dates for all the aforementioned fixtures will be added as we know them.
