A Macclesfield woman who took up crochet at a 'difficult' time in her life is now ready to open her own boutique.
Danie Clave is bringing her handmade fashion label, Lady of Loops, to Macclesfield Market Hall.
A former property lawyer, Daniela took up crochet after being forced to step away from her career due to developing long COVID and chronic fatigue syndrome.
She said: "It was a very difficult transition, but crochet became something that brought me real joy and a sense of purpose.
"Most importantly, it's something I can do despite my disability.
"What began as a way of slowing down and creating with my hands has now grown into Lady of Loops – a slow fashion boutique."
Daniela added: "Selling online and at artisan markets has been a wonderful experience.
"It's given me the chance to connect directly with people, hear their stories, and see how they respond to my work.
"Those conversations have been invaluable in shaping the brand – from the types of products I make to the way I present them."

Daniela was born in Brazil but has lived in Macclesfield for most of her adult life.
She is hoping to open her stall at the new-look indoor market in the next few weeks.
"I decided to open a stall at Macclesfield Market Hall after seeing the refurbishment and feeling it would be a lovely place to be," she said.
"The market has a great vibe, and I often buy my yarn there, so I wanted to be part of it.
"After having to stop working, I did feel quite isolated, and having a stall here gives me both a sense of pride and a real connection to the community.
"I'm proud to be contributing to the market's revival and excited to bring Lady of Loops into that setting."

Lady of Loops will showcase Daniela's original crochet designs alongside handmade pieces from other makers, including knitwear, garments and accessories.
There will also be a curated selection of pre-loved designer clothing.
In addition to shopping, visitors will be able to learn crochet themselves through 'Crochet by Appointment' sessions, which Daniela will be offering from the stall.
She said: "The aim is to create not just a place to buy, but a space to connect with creativity, craft, and community.
"I'm really excited – it feels like the start of a new chapter not just for Lady of Loops, but for me personally.
"The stall will give me a renewed sense of purpose, while also creating a little corner of creativity and comfort within Macclesfield's market community."
