A loyal Macclesfield FC supporter has gained a following through doing matchday vlogs of the Silkmen's games.

Zak Soualmi (16), has lived in Macclesfield all his life and has supported the Silks for ten years now.

The vlogging started way back before the Macclesfield Town was liquidated, but since the club's revitalisation as Macclesfield FC, the vlogs have also gained more popularity.

"I was just doing it fun and now the way it has grown, and everyone knows me it fantastic," Zak explained.

"I was in Poynton and a man stopped me and said you're the vlogging guy who records the Macc games. I was shocked that someone out of Macclesfield recognised me.†

Zak himself has already managed to meet a respectable collection of Macclesfield football players, saying that he has already met the entire of the first team. Although he stated that there are a few silkmen legends he is yet to meet.

"The player I would have wanted to meet the most is Matthew Barnes-Homer or Waide Fairhurst they were players that were around when I started watching Macc." Zak said.

Not only has he met the majority of Macclesfield's players, but he has also met one of his footballing idols.

"The player who got me into football was Wayne Rooney, and I was very lucky to meet him when Macclesfield played Stockport.†

Zak doesn't want to slow down any time soon, he wants the moment of his channel, as well as the momentum of Macclesfield FC themselves, to carry on for a lot longer.

"I think Macclesfield will be in the EFL in a few years, and my next step is 1k Subscribers, hopefully I can hit that mark," Zak added.

"If I hit 1k subscribers that would mean the world to me.

You can view Zak's vlog of last year's Congleton Town clash at the top of this article, which gained almost 6,000 views.
