A Macclesfield youth football club are raising funds to send their players to Europe.

Tytherington Juniors FC are set to go on a club tour to the Netherlands this October.

Launched at the same time as the Lionesses are inspiring the nation once again during the Women's World Cup, grassroots football in Macclesfield is planning its own international adventure.

There are numerous fundraisers all for the same cause, as there are multiple different teams, and players are raising money in different ways.

They are set to play at PSV Eindhoven in the province of North Brabant.

The Under 10s boys team will be going in a sponsored run in a Macclesfield park,

The Under 13s Titans teams will do sponsored laps in a similar fashion. (And there is a separate crowdfunder for this HERE).

Macclesfield business Edgar Brothers - of Heather Close - are contributing towards some of the players costs, as the club's new sponsor. However, donations on the links above by the community are greatly appreciated.

55 players are going Dutch this autumn, alongside 13 coaches and 45 parents. So there is a lot to fund!
