Macclesfield FC net another new sponsor to aid promotion push

Stoke-based Cyber Security experts D2NA have scored a sponsorship deal with high-flying Macclesfield FC.

Cyber security and Cloud transformation IT experts D2NA have signed a sponsorship deal with Macclesfield's biggest football club Macclesfield FC.

Th Longton-based business are also backing strikers Harry Freedman and Kane Drummond, and midfielder Luke Murphy, as the Silkmen bid for promotion.

In a statement, the IT specialists relished the opportunity to support one of "the best supported clubs outside the Football League."

The club have recorded attendances over 4,000 twice in recent weeks.

The company will see its name appear on a prominent advertising site at Macclesfield's Leasing.com Stadium, on London Road.

The deal also includes programme advertising, social media mentions and access to Macclesfield's VIP lounge, sponsored by Mercedes Benz of Macclesfield.

"We're delighted to sign a deal with such a go-ahead club as Macclesfield," said Cheryl Chadwick.

"They're flying high at the top of the Northern Premier League West Division and the facilities at the Leasing.com Stadium are first class.

"It's our first major deal of this kind and we believe the timing is perfect, with both the football club and D2NA sharing plans for growth.

"D2NA has always had strong community values and we were impressed by how Macclesfield FC's footballing philosophy goes way beyond the first team.

"The club is a hive of activity seven-days a week, with the Macclesfield women's team and age group teams all using the stadium."

Founded in 2005, D2NA are a cyber security company with a history of infrastructure support.

Jonpaul said: "We're based in Staffordshire and have a national reach, so Macclesfield is very much in the heart of our area. We're hoping to support them all the way back into the English Football League. The sponsorship package runs for the remainder of the current season and throughout the 2023/24 campaign.

Employing 26 people, D2NA of Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire is headed by Managing Director Jonpaul Sargent and Founder Graham Doyle.
