A Manchester United legend paid a visit to Macclesfield FC as the club pledged its support to his annual campaign.
The Silkmen have teamed up with the Michael Carrick Foundation to support the annual Carrick's Boot Room campaign.
Launched in 2018, the campaign aims to ensure that every young footballer has access to the equipment they need to take part.
To mark the start of this partnership, midfield maestro Carrick paid a visit to the Leasing.com Stadium on Monday night, November 17.
A Macclesfield FC spokesperson said: "It was amazing to see so many boots donated last night for 'Carrick's Boot Room'.
"We were also delighted to welcome Michael Carrick down to the Leasing.com Stadium and also the Sky Sports cameras.
"Along with all of the junior academy sides, first Team players Paul Dawson, Danny Elliott and Luke Matheson were also in attendance last night.
"With such a great start, the boot drop will still be in academy reception until December 1 - bring along any spare boots you may have to donate to a great cause."

During the last Boot Room campaign, more than one thousand pairs of boots were distributed to children who had incorrect or ill-fitting footwear.
This year, the campaign is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Macclesfield's football family and local community are being asked to dig out unwanted or outgrown football boots and astro trainers and donate them at the club's academy reception by December 1.
Every pair of donated boots will be thoroughly checked, cleaned and re-laced, ready to be redistributed to children who need them most.
