Cheshire East Council has published a document that outlines the plans they have made should there be a local outbreak of Covid-19.
The council says this plan, part of the government's national Covid-19 test, trace, contain and enable recovery strategy, will help ensure that an effective and coordinated approach is in place for the prevention, rapid detection and management of any coronavirus outbreaks within Cheshire East.

I can actually trace my love affair with Macclesfield to a precise date: 03 July 1973.
I had been sharing a house in Handforth with some students. I saw an advert in the Manchester Evening News: "Fully furnished terraced house for sale. Furnished. £650."
The Samaritans Charity Shop will reopen from Thursday (9 July).
The shop, which is located at the top of Pickford Street near the Bus Station will open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
With the lockdown easing, at Macclesfield Nub News we are switching back on our What's On section and we want to help publicise your event.

Last week saw the appointment of Macclesfield's new mayor and deputy mayor during a virtual meeting of the town council.
Cllr Sarah Bennett-Wake succeeded Cllr Janet Jackson MBE to become the 6th mayor of the town council which was established in 2015, with Cllr David Edwardes chosen as her deputy.
