Homes in the Macclesfield area were featured on a prime time slot on telly this week.

The first ever series of Celebrity Escape to the Country, featured an episode set in Cheshire.

Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec of Strictly Come Dancing, visited properties in Prestbury and Bollington.

The show described Bollington as a "prime location on the edge of the Peak District."

The celebs praised the property for giving an instant welcome from the lushly-decorated outside.

The three-bedroom Victorian property can be viewed on RightMove.

They then visited a home in North Rode, which is currently being sold by Gascoigne Halman Prestbury.
