Property of the Week - Boutique development ready to move into by Christmas

Bespoke's Property of the Week - Phase two of the 'Bentley' of new builds overlooking Knights Pool in Macclesfield

By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 1st Nov 2025

Property of the Week is brought to you by our partners, Bespoke by Northwood.

This week we return to Knights View, where all of the major building work has now been completed.

The Knightsley is the largest house type available at this boutique development and all of the properties are ready to move into in time for Christmas.

Josh Gilchrist, director at Bespoke by Northwood, said: "Knights View has been incredibly popular, with buyers often telling us they're nothing like any other new build they've seen. They're boutique homes that redefine what a new build can be.

"The high ceilings, large windows, and timeless proportions are inspired by period homes, but everything has been crafted for modern life.

"Most new builds are like the entry-level model of a car, where every extra comes at a cost. These are more like a Bentley - absolutely everything you could want comes as standard."

The Knightsley

The Knightsley are the largest properties available at Knights Pool, offering 1,824 sq ft across three floors.

On the ground floor, you will find an integral garage, entrance hall with WC and storage, a central kitchen, and a rear-facing lounge/diner with bi-folding doors to the garden.

The first floor features a front-facing en-suite bedroom, two rear-facing bedrooms (one with a built-in cupboard), a family bathroom, and a separate storage room.

The top floor is home to a luxurious rear-facing principal suite, complete with a dressing area, en-suite, and access to a private roof terrace with views over Knights Pool - perfect for quiet mornings or summer evenings.

Externally, The Knightsley includes driveway parking to the front, a private rear garden, and a bin store located at the back.

Knights Pool

Knights Pool was originally constructed to power Macclesfield's silk mills, playing a vital role in the town's emergence as a leading centre for silk production during the Industrial Revolution.

Today, this serene body of water offers a peaceful retreat for anglers and nature enthusiasts alike.

Managed by the Prince Albert Angling Society, Knights Pool is home to a variety of fish species, including carp, pike, tench, perch, and roach.
