All walks start and finish in Alderley Edge. Routes take in some of the most distinctive and beloved landscapes in the county, from the dramatic sandstone escarpment of Alderley Edge itself, with its ancient copper mines and sweeping views across the Cheshire plain, through the wooded valleys and meadows of the Bollin Valley, across the open farmland of Nether Alderley, and out toward the wild heathland of Stormy Point.
Walks range from short, easy circular routes of two to three miles, perfect for families, beginners and anyone returning to walking, through to moderate routes of five to six miles taking in the wider Cheshire landscape, up to the headline challenge of the day, a ten to twelve mile route for experienced walkers wanting to cover serious ground.
Every walk is led by a qualified Mountain Leader. Every participant is in expert hands from the moment they set off to the moment they return.
