Tuesday 30 December
Join us for a Guided Grief Walk, a reflective and supportive experience in the heart of nature.
The holiday and festive season can be a bittersweet time for those of us grieving. Join me for a gentle, reflective walk through nature - a chance to honour our feelings, connect with others, and find solace in the beauty of the outdoors.
This accessible 2½-mile route will take us from Jackson's Brickworks to Nelson Pit and back, with moments to pause, reflect, and share. We'll finish with warm drinks and an opportunity to connect further.
What to Expect:
- A reflective walk through the picturesque Middlewood Way
- Opportunities to pause, reflect, and share your thoughts and stories
- A nurturing space to connect with others who understand the grief journey
What to Bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- A water bottle
- A flask of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate for warmth and comfort at the end
- A memento of your loved one (if you feel called to carry something special with you)
- A journal and pen, should you want to note any reflections
Meeting Point:
Please meet us at Jackson's Brickworks car park from 9:45 am for a 10:00 am start. The postcode of Jackson's Brickworks for satnav is: SK12 1UT or the what3words: ///instincts.cubs.takeovers. We will gather as a group before beginning our walk.

As always, this event is designed to provide a compassionate, nature-based space for reflection and connection. I believe that the natural world can offer us solace and understanding during times of grief. Through the gentle act of walking together, we honour the process of grieving with respect, empathy, and deep care.
Your presence is all that matters.
I look forward to welcoming you.
