My name is Izzy, and I'm the founder of The Hair Social Club—a brand-new networking community created to bring hairdressers together in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.

After noticing there weren't many opportunities for hair professionals to meet outside of training courses and trade shows, I decided to create an event focused on building genuine friendships, industry connections and confidence.

Our very first event will take place on Sunday 16th August 2026 in Macclesfield and will include interactive activities such as a personalised Charm Bar, Hairdressing Bingo, a Friendly Foiling Competition, networking opportunities, food and refreshments, prizes and a swag bag for every attendee.

Since launching the waitlist, we've had interest from hairdressers across the UK, with more than 100 people signing up to hear about the event before tickets went on sale. It's been amazing to see so much support for the idea.

This is the first Hair Social Club event, but my vision is to grow it into a nationwide community with regular events where hairdressers can connect, support one another and celebrate the industry together.
