Bollington Death Cafe: A Safe Space to Talk About Death
Rootstock, 68 Palmerston Street, Bollington, SK10 5PW

11th Feb 2025 - 11th Feb 2025
Tuesday 11th February
An inclusive, informal and friendly opportunity to gather together to eat cake, drink tea and talk about death.
Join us for a Death Café—an open, supportive space to talk about death, share thoughts, and break the taboo around this natural part of life. Together, we'll explore ways to embrace mortality, live more fully, and transform fear into acceptance. There's no agenda, no set outcomes—just meaningful conversations in a warm, welcoming environment.
The aim is simple: to increase awareness of death and help us live more fully by acknowledging the finiteness of life.
Please note that this is not a grief support or counselling session but rather a space for open, group-directed discussions with no fixed themes or objectives. Everyone is welcome, and the conversation is always free.
Laura Doherty facilitates the Bollington Death Cafe, which is open to all who wish to attend. We invite you to come along and join us for an informal and non-judgemental discussion on death and bereavement.
There is no charge for attending, but as space is limited we do ask that you register here https://www.tickettailor.com/events/modernwysewoman/1079702
As we currently use Rootstock as a venue, we ask that you purchase a drink as a token of gratitude to this lovely cafe. If you are experiencing any financial hardship, please reach out, as I have a small fund for purchasing drinks.
