Guided Grief Walk – A Reflective Journey in Nature

April Guided Grief Walk at Teggs Nose

Join us for a reflective and supportive experience in nature.

Grief can feel isolating, especially in times when the world seems to move forward, but we carry our loss with us. This April, I invite you to join me on a gentle, guided walk through the stunning landscape of Teggs Nose. This walk offers a safe space to reflect, connect with others, and honour your grief in the serenity of the outdoors.

What to Expect:

  • A reflective walk through the picturesque landscape of Teggs Nose
  • Opportunities to pause, reflect, and share your thoughts and stories
  • A nurturing space to connect with others who understand the grief journey
  • A warm drink at the end to connect further and find comfort

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • A water bottle
  • A flask of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate for warmth and comfort at the end
  • A memento of your loved one (if you feel called to carry something special with you)
  • A journal and pen, should you want to note any reflections

Meeting Point:

Please meet us at the Teggs Nose car park from 9:45 am for a 10:00 am start. The postcode for your satnav is SK11 0AP. We will gather as a group before beginning the walk. NB: The car park does charge for parking.

Additional Information:

This walk is open to all - whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating a personal transition, or simply seeking a peaceful, reflective experience in nature.

The route is accessible for most fitness levels and will last approximately 2 hours.

The walk will proceed rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

Fee:

£22 per person

Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate, so please register in advance.

Support:

If the cost is a barrier to your attendance, please reach out to me directly. I want to ensure that this experience is accessible to everyone, and we can work together to make it possible for you to attend.

As always, this event is designed to provide a compassionate, nature-based space for reflection and connection. I believe that the natural world can offer us solace and understanding during times of grief. Through the gentle act of walking together, we honour the process of grieving with respect, empathy, and deep care.

Your presence is all that matters.

I look forward to welcoming you.
