This production is presented by Nuworks Theatre made in Australia, in association with MADS Theatre and East Cheshire Hospice, following the success of The Pirate Code in 2023 and The Shoemaker of Havana in 2024.

A reimagining of Bertolt Brecht's The Threepenny Opera, with references to the government of Margaret Thatcher and the advent of the punk rock era, defined by a rejection of core British values: miner strikes, race riots, football hooligans and garbage strikes.
