Most years the Mayor of Macclesfield hosts a civic ball, open to fellow dignitarys and the public.

The reason for hosting the ball is to raise money for the Mayor's chosen charities. The current Mayor Cllr Emma Gilman, has chosen to suport Cardiac Risk in the Young and Friends of Park Lane Special School. Both are charities close to her heart, particularly as her year has focused on the young people of the town.

Being held at the Tytherington Club on Saturday 16th May it is going to be a great night. The tickets cost £50 per person and include a tickets a welcome drink, amazing 3 course meal with wine and then a disco to finish the night.
