We have seen many different expressions of support over the last few months for the NHS and its key workers, from the Thursday night applause to street performances and works of art.

Bollington-based Sunitha Southern wanted to say "thank you" in her own unique way – through the medium of food.

Sunitha is the woman behind The Indian Goat, a unique catering concept which brings authentic Indian cuisine into local homes through her pop-up takeaway service.

Earlier this month she decided to treat 50 key workers from Bollington Medical Centre to a mouth-watering mixture of Tandoori chicken and cauliflower, dal Tadka and rice.

"I express emotion through food," explained Sunitha, "and people in the Medical Centre have been on the front line while we've been safe at home. I'm so grateful to them."

With top-quality ingredients donated by JJJ Heathcote and Heritage at Home, it was an occasion to savour.

Sunitha is offering NHS staff a 20% discount off her usual rates for the remainder of this year, and she is currently planning her next show of appreciation for the Bollington Fire Service.
