Two 18-year-old men charged following criminal damage incidents in Macclesfield

Two 18-year-old men from Macclesfield have been charged following criminal damage incidents in the town.

Jake Donnelly, of Chester Road, and Malakai Malloch, of Byron Street, were arrested at around 2.45am on Monday 13 July.

They were arrested in Byron Street and have subsequently been charged with criminal damage.

Donnelly has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Those charges relate to an incident which occurred at an address in High Street, Macclesfield, at around 10pm on Sunday 12 July.

Donnelly has also been charged with a second count of criminal damage in connection with a separate incident at the same address, which took place at around 5pm on Friday 26 June.

A window was smashed in both incidents.

Donnelly and Malloch have both been released on conditional bail. They are set to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on Monday 7 September.
