Macclesfield's independent boutique hotel is inching closer to opening.

You can now reserve one room at the top-of-the-range hotel to open on Chestergate this year.

And you can stay in BOHOTEL as early as the spring, with one gorgeous room being available to book from Thursday April 7.

That's according to an Airbnb page for a beautiful BOHOTEL room, which hopes to lay claim for Macclesfield being a destination town.

Taking their name from the Bohemian chic style of decor and the word 'boutique', it is clear to see with the elegant, artsy-black furnishings in this currently-available room.

Called 'The Big Daddy', it is one of seven rooms coming to the one-of-a-kind Macclesfield hotel.

A bed fit for a king stands out in this room, alongside vintage rugs and golden frames.

A close up for a modern tiled bathroom also wets the appetite, with lit candles adding to the hotel's relaxing vibes and decadence.

BOHOTEL said: "BOHOTEL Macclesfield has seven individually designed rooms. The 'Big Daddy' (pictures) of them all is Room One."

"[Complete] with chocolate coloured wood panelling, a superking bed and a super sexy 'in room' bathtub.

"Our street level all day dining and drinking is curated by Martin Lowe of Suburban Green."

This room offers an affordable £79 per night stay, in exchange for a bit of elegance in the heart of Macclesfield.

Pets are allowed, and another benefit is a discount to be one of the first to book.

Please note, the £79 figure does not include extra fees.

More rooms are to follow on Airbnb, but you can read the full current listing and reserve here.

Situated on number 88-90 to the east of Chestergate, there is less than two months to go until BOHOTEL welcomes their first guests!

While having a Premier Inn and Travelodge book-ending either end of the town, BOHOTEL fills a gap in the market for a premier indie hotel in Macc.

BOHOTEL's part of Chestergate already has businesses offering a high quality experience, such as The Copper Room, The Picturedrome and FrenJabi restaurant.

BOHOTEL is the next part of the gentrification of one of Macclesfield's most iconic streets.
